Georgetown Book Fair
The Georgetown LMC is here to meet all of your reading and research needs. We are open Monday through Friday from 9:05-3:25.
Students visit the LMC on a weekly basis, with their library time a scheduled part of their weekly activities. During each visit, students might hear a story, learn about an interesting author, explore a genre, complete some research, or learn how to use different aspects of the library.
Come visit us!

Children at Georgetown are invited to check out books on a weekly basis. Kindergarten, first, and second grade classes come to the library once a week to enjoy storytime, library skill lessons, and book shares. During this weekly visit, they are able to check out books. Students in third and fourth grade come down to the library once a week as a class to check out books. Students in fifth grade come to library as allowed by their teachers.
All students, except for kindergarten, are allowed to check out two books at a time. Kindergarten students begin the year by checking out one book at a time, but this will increase to two books a week during second semester.
The Georgetown LMC does not charge overdue fines. However, a student may not check out any additional materials until their overdue book has been turned in. If the book is lost or damaged, the student will be charged the cost of the book. This charge is payable directly to Georgetown school and can be supplied through check or cash.
