Our Mission
To help all students learn and develop the skills necessary for participation in individual, team, and lifetime sports and personal fitness activities so that they may gain the tools necessary for making wise and healthy decisions for a lifetime.

Kindergarten -- Grade 2
  • Fundamental Motor Skills & Patterns - run, jump, hop, skip, gallop, slide, throw, catch, kick, and strike
  • Body Awareness/Body Control - body parts, shapes, directions, levels, pathways, force, stunts, and tumbling
  • Physical Fitness - pre- and post-testing and basic concepts
  • Rhythms & Dance - moving to even/uneven beat, folk dance
  • Lead-Up Games - cooperation, team concept, sportsmanship, skill development

Grades 3 --5
  • Team Sports - skills, rules, strategy, teamwork, and sportsmanship
  • Human Anatomy/Body Control - bones, muscles, vital organs, and circulatory system/stunts & tumbling
  • Physical Fitness - testing/exercise physiology concepts
  • Rhythms & Dance - square, line, country/western dance
  • Lead-Up Games - teamwork, sportsmanship, continued skill development
